How to apply ↗01 / The purpose
Help technology
carry more.
We’re building technology that helps people connect what matters across work and life, recognize what needs attention, and move forward with greater clarity and control.
Product, engineering, data and design are actively developing the platform. We’re hiring the engineers and operating leaders who will drive its next stage.
You’ll build the hands-on financial foundation and forward-looking planning that support an AI-native company’s next phase of growth. Bring cash, operating performance and financing readiness into a dependable view of the business.
You’ll join while foundational product and operating decisions are still being made, with meaningful responsibility for what we build and how we build it.
Experience behind the ambition
Our founders and team bring experience across product, engineering, creativity, data and company building, with prior experience at Google, WPP, Publicis, The Trade Desk, People Inc., WebMD · Medscape, TomorrowVentures and MediaMath.
Prior experience of individual team members. No affiliation or endorsement implied.
U.S. patent application pending.
loopworks anticipates. People decide.
One person. One loopworks.
02 / Your ownership
Your work.
Real responsibility.
Cash, operating economics and planning
Own rolling cash forecasts, reconciliations and financing scenarios. Connect hiring and vendor commitments to obligations and available funds. Develop operating metrics and unit economics, including cloud and model costs, as the business grows.
Close, reporting and financial records
Lead monthly close, reconciliations and management reporting. Coordinate accounting and tax advisers, and maintain accurate capitalization records with legal partners. Keep records ready for board and financing review.
Practical financial controls
Establish purchasing, accounts-payable and payroll-vendor controls, approval workflows and financial delegation. Help teams move efficiently within clear spending authority.
Investor support and fundraising readiness
Prepare financial content for investor updates, board materials and fundraising presentations. Maintain the financial data room, coordinate diligence requests and follow-through, and equip founders for investor meetings with clear, source-backed answers.
03 / The practice
What great
looks like.
The numbers reconcile.
Cash, books and obligations tell a consistent story. Differences are investigated and explained, and financial reporting has a clear owner and dependable cadence.
The forecast reflects reality.
Hiring and vendor plans flow into the forecast when supported by approved commitments. Scenarios clearly distinguish assumptions from funds available to spend.
Founders are prepared.
Investor and board discussions are supported by consistent metrics, clear assumptions and organized financial evidence. Diligence requests have owners and follow-through, while financing scenarios remain distinct from available cash.
These are the outcomes you’ll help build and establish, with progress grounded in evidence.

Clear communication
Sound judgment, discretion and the ability to explain financial tradeoffs to technical and non-financial colleagues.
Preferred background
Experience building within an AI-native company, frontier AI lab, developer platform or technically sophisticated software business is strongly preferred.
