How to apply01 / The purpose
We’re building technology that helps people connect what matters across work and life, recognize what needs attention, and move forward with greater clarity and control.
Product, engineering, data and design are actively developing the platform. We’re hiring the engineers and operating leaders who will drive its next stage.
You’ll turn model capabilities into reliable product behavior. Build and evaluate useful AI experiences with strong engineering judgment, thoughtful testing and respect for privacy and human control.
You’ll join while foundational product and operating decisions are still being made, with meaningful responsibility for what we build and how we build it.
Our founders and team bring experience across product, engineering, creativity, data and company building, with prior experience at Google, WPP, Publicis, The Trade Desk, People Inc., WebMD · Medscape, TomorrowVentures and MediaMath.
Prior experience of individual team members. No affiliation or endorsement implied.

loopworks anticipates. People decide.
One person. One loopworks.
02 / Your ownership
Own the engineering that makes model-powered behavior useful, bounded and observable in real product flows.
Build production AI flows within explicit context, permission and product boundaries. Assemble relevant, authorized context and keep model behavior accountable to real product rules.
Build reliable model and tool workflows. Make outputs understandable, test behavior carefully and help users stay informed and in control.
Measure whether a model materially improves a product path against simpler baselines. Work with Data Science to evaluate quality and regressions, including fallback, abstention or no model at all.
Design for provider failure, invalid output, latency, regression, cost and rollback. Make behavior observable and reproducible so the team can understand failures and improve the product.
03 / The practice
Useful. Inspectable.
Human-controlled.
AI behavior is understandable and carefully tested. You help build experiences that respect privacy, communicate limitations and support human judgment.
Invalid output, provider failure and regression have explicit fallbacks and a practical rollback path. Product behavior can be tested and reproduced, with latency and cost treated as design choices.
Compare model behavior with simpler baselines. Use AI where it improves the experience, explain the tradeoffs and choose dependable alternatives when appropriate.
Collaborate across product, design, engineering and business teams. Translate requirements into testable behavior and explain tradeoffs plainly.
04 / What you bring
Production experience, technical fluency and clear product judgment.
Experience building within an AI-native company, frontier AI lab, developer platform or technically sophisticated software business is strongly preferred.
Shipping model-powered products; LLM evaluation; retrieval and tool use; permission-aware AI; and reliable model infrastructure.
We value demonstrated judgment and relevant work. A PhD is not required.
05 / The setting
At loopworks, we believe technology should make us more capable, connected, and human. We’re an ambitious, collaborative team where curiosity, individuality, and fresh perspectives matter. Help shape what comes next, and enjoy the ride along the way.
Build alongside your colleagues in Miami Beach, with the ocean, culture and energy of an international city part of your everyday surroundings. Bring ambition for the work and curiosity about the life you can build around it.
Help shape foundational decisions and see the connection between your judgment, the product and the company we build.
Work across disciplines on useful AI, dependable systems and a company designed to earn people’s trust.
Four in-office days per week initially. After six months, one additional remote day may be approved based on performance, role and business needs.
